I got this idea from 2 people really. My sister who blew through a Mac blush in approximately 4 months and lollipop26 who said it should be a formal experiment. I personally don't wear much blush and in all honesty just really started wearing blush almost daily last summer - I blame YT! I have 2 sisters and 1 of them really likes her blush and bronzer, almost too much but that's because I prefer her naturally porcelain skin to her fake tan look (the grass is always greener isn't it?). I've always been a fan of pale skin, probably because I have olive skin and we always want what we can't have right?
For all my readers, old and new and passers by, please join me in this experiment! I only have 2 full sized Mac blushes so this will be easier for me than for those of you blush aficionados.
How long will a Mac (or Mac sized - no tiny quarter sized blush pans) blush last?
2 Months?
4 Months?
6 Months?
9 Months?
12+ Months?
If you've already done this then please share your experience in the comments section. If you haven't and want to play along then pick your favorite blush, try and remember back to when you purchased it and start keeping track of how quickly it disappears. I realize you probably can't wear the same one every day but wear it as much as you can before you grab other blushes.
Please comment below so I know how many experimenters we have and then we can check in every month to see the results. I realize this might seem goofy to some but I think it will help determine just how much we're getting out of each pan and then if you really want, you can even break it down my month. Like each blush works out to X amount per month :).

I like this experiment! I have been using four blushes quite often (like 95% of the time, i will use one of the four) and have hit pan on three, would it be helpful if i posted pics of them to see the extent of usage?

What a neat idea. I've had a MAC blush that I use about 3-4x a week and it's been 6 months since i got it and it still looks like I've barely scratched the surface. But maybe it's because I use a fan brush to apply it, I dunno.
Good luck with you on this project. I cannot use the same blush every day. Looking forward to your findings.
I shamefully declare that I have never finished a blush :( BUT hopefully this nobuy I'm on will bring an end to it.
i have recently hit pan on a blush, i bought it two years ago. but i don´t do make up daily, or not until lately when i rediscovered my love for make up.
