Unfortunately this look takes at least an hour of not more to achieve and that's with getting it done by a professional. We're talking tons of back combing, hairspray, bobby pins and hair pins or and lets not forget it needs to be blow dried and flat ironed first, that alone takes over an hour but I digress. I love my pouf so when I heard about Bumpits I was stoked! I'll admit I was also a bit skeptical but that soon faded. Now I have yet to try the Bumpits with straight hair simply because its not something I do often but I'm sure they would work perfectly. They come in 3 sizes, regular, tiny and Hollywood. Personally I think the Hollywood is a bit high for work but for a night out its perfect for that extra height. And you really don't need to back comb at all unless you have thinner hair but even then its minimal. Since I have a mane of hair I can actually get away with using a Bumpit on wet hair without backcombing or hairspray which is awesome. I'll admit the infomercial does seem a bit cheesy but these things really do work. Here are 2 examples of me showing you how they work on my hair and how to use them.

I really do love these Bumpits especially since I am hair challenged when it comes to trying to style my hair. They are so easy to use and even the regular size changes up a look just enough to feel a little more done up than usual.
Price: It really depends on where you get them but it ranges from $9.99-$19.99 plus S&H if applicableRating: 4.5 out of 5. The only reason they don't get a 5 out of 5 is because I have a hard time getting them out of my hair, they go in super easy but there is a bit of tangling when it comes to the removal.
Where to buy: http://www.bighappyhair.com/ and I've heard rumors that you can find them at Walgreen's

I bought these and I love the concept, but I don't have enough hair to cover the bumpit. My hair is fine and thin and just not enough. So I resort to how I used to do it in high school, backcombing and bobbypins work for me.
