Review: Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder

A few months ago, during the last Urban Decay F&F actually, I decided to try the De-Slick Mattifying Powder. I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first simply because I didn't think that something would not only take away the shine but keep it at bay all day long.
My skin isn't necessarily oily like it was in my teens and early 20s but it is still more on the oily side than dry and my daily moisturizer with SPF definitely turns me into an oil slick every morning. I had been using a light dusting of a translucent powder that did the job but it didn't last all day and sometimes I felt like I had to apply far more than I'd like so I decided to break down and try the De-Slick. Once I tried it I really was sold. It works instantly and I use so much less of this that my translucent powder. I definitely recommend this if you have oily skin or have problems with being or getting shiny throughout the day. My youngest sister has really oily skin so I told her about it and she ran out to buy it and it has now become one of her HG products as well. She's even cut back on the foundation since using the De-Slick which I'm all for.

Its . If you think the price is too high then wait for the next Friends & Family sale, that's when I got mine and I plan to stock up again this time around. So far it has lasted me 2.5 months and it still has a lot left even though I have already hit pan but I don't want to be without and I'm too cheap to pay full price right now.

Rating: 5 out of 5!
Where to find: Urban Decay, Ulta, Sephora and even Amazon
Price: $29 on the UD site and worth every penny but its even better with the 30-% off F&F deal
Would I recommend: YES without a doubt
